Dinosaur World

The Lord has recently lead me on a new journey with blending the children’s lessons as I teach them certain subjects like science, history, art, geography, etc.. As I planned out our first unit study, the Lord lead me to find an exciting museum south of us here in Florida called Dinosaur World, in Plant City.

The kids had a blast, even Sam and I enjoyed ourselves. The grounds were covered in a natural, swamp-like setting. The Florida natural terrane of palm trees and Spanish moss, added the finishing touch to the place, making the 20+ foot tall dinosaurs everywhere look very realistic.

They also have section for fossil digging, and gem mining, as well as a very full gift shop. For us, it was a wonderful finish to the dinosaur unit study.

Highly recommend it if you’re local.

Also, call ahead and ask for the PDF for teachers. The gal gave me an 8+ page document with word searches, cross word puzzles, statistics on dinosaurs, etc… and specific information on their museum. So helpful!
